Our Story

Founded in 2014, W Aviation began its journey with the complete remodeling and restoration of three low-tail hangars, setting the stage for its evolution into South Florida’s Premier Fixed Base Operator (FBO). From the very beginning, the vision was clear: to redefine private aviation through luxury, efficiency, and world-class service.

As demand for private aviation grew, so did we. An ambitious expansion followed, adding approximately 2.3 acres of ramp space to enhance aircraft maneuverability and parking capacity. Furthermore, we constructed two state-of-the-art high-tail hangars, each 20,000 sq. ft., designed to accommodate the latest in private and corporate aviation. These hangars also include premium office spaces and parking for over 150 vehicles, ensuring a seamless experience for passengers, pilots, and crew.

In 2023 and 2024, W Aviation took its services to the next level with the expansion of its terminal, culminating in a new, ultra-modern facility that is now the largest and most luxurious at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE). With an over $23 million investment in infrastructure, W Aviation has solidified its status as a premier destination for private aviation.

The state-of-the-art terminal is designed to provide an unparalleled experience. Guests and crew enjoy private VIP lounges, overnight suites, a fitness center, a pilot lounge with massage chairs, and an arcade featuring an F1 simulator. The facility also includes a duty-free shop, conference rooms, and office space ranging from 350 to 5,000 sq. ft., catering to both business and leisure travelers.

As an independent FBO, W Aviation offers some of the most competitive fuel prices at FXE—on average, $2 less per gallon than competitors. The ability to manage fuel operations efficiently provides significant cost savings while maintaining the highest service standards.
